For the Graduate

This cake was created for my dear co-worker's sister who graduated from CW Post this year with a Master's Degree! I've made a number of cakes for this sweet family over the past few years and their favorite flavors are red velvet with chocolate frosting and devils food cake with cannoli cream filling and chocolate frosting...luckily this cake had two tiers, so they could have both!

Last weekend at Heavenly Bites Cakes I had the pleasure of making dueling football helmets for a daughter and dad - Molly was celebrating her high school graduation and upcoming freshman year at Ohio State and her dad Kevin (a huge Washington Redskins fan) was celebrating his 50th birthday!

Now, I know Ohio State and the Washington Redskins will probably never actually duel each other on the football field, but at this graduation/birthday celebration, all bets were off! :)
